Dick Branch

Senior Vice President / Certified Financial Planner®

Dick Branch is a Certified Financial Planner® with Independent Wealth Connections, LLC.  Independent Wealth Connections offers an extensive menu of investing planning products and services to clients.  The primary focus of his business is helping professionals, business owners, and families build, manage, preserve, and transfer their wealth.  Wealth Management includes all aspects of asset and liability strategies, understanding risks, and the four choices involved in managing risk, trust, estate, and fiduciary structures.

Dick utilizes a consultative approach and believes strongly in the role communication plays to build healthy, long-term client relationships.  His goal is to help people gain financial confidence about their future.

His core philosophy is centered on the needs, goals, and objectives of his clients.  He utilizes a process that begins with a personalized meeting and conversation to discuss financial goals and assess current and future needs.  He takes time to listen to his clients, understand their needs, and then works with them to craft a financial plan that's sensitive to their situation and helps them pursue their financial goals.  He then analyzes his client's current investment portfolios and liabilities to help make proper diversification[1], liability management, and asset allocation decisions.  Investment recommendations are made and step-by-step implementation follows.  Dick meets regularly with his clients to monitor and adjust their financial plan as needed.

Dick has been in the financial services industry since 1981.  He holds various professional registrations with LPL Financial including a Series 7 General Securities Registration, Series 63 Uniform Securities Agent State Registration, a Series 65 Investment Advisor Law Exam, a series 24 General Securities Principal, and he is licensed to offer life and disability insurance and annuity products.  He also holds the Certified Financial Planner® designation through the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards.

He works towards balance in his life by being an active member in the community while striving for excellence in his career. He and his wife, Connie, have been married for 28 years. They enjoy travelling the world and spending time with family and friends.  They are also actively involved in community organizations such as 2nd Harvest Food Bank, Spokane Symphony Associates, and Soul To Soles, an all-volunteer non-profit charity.  Dick is actively involved as a youth baseball couch.

Dick and Connie make their home in Spokane, and are the proud parents of two loving dogs, Daisy and Duke; plus our children, Chris and Jessica, and soon to be 5 grandchildren.
